Jerry C. Digo (JCD) is a Senior Counsel of the PPP Group.
He guides project teams and proponents on Philippine procurement laws and regulations, an expertise he acquired after working for several years at the Government Procurement Policy Board (GPPB).
In the GPPB, JCD assisted in the formulation of the national government’s procurement rules and policies, including the 2016 Revised Implementing Rules and Regulations of the Government Procurement Reform Act, the 5th Edition of the Philippine Bidding Documents, and the 2nd Edition of the Generic Procurement Manuals. He also wrote legal opinions and manuals for the GPPB.
He lectured in procurement courses at the University of the Philippines, Kalinga State University, Central Luzon State University, and Sultan Kudarat State University.
JCD has an extensive training in procurement programs both locally and abroad. He completed the Development Program for Public Procurement Practitioners by the Development Academy of the Philippines, where he received the Top Scorer Award in 2015. He also obtained Level 2 Certificate in Public Procurement of the Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply and completed the Advanced Global Workshop on Government Procurement by the World Trade Organization in Geneva, Switzerland.
JCD obtained his Bachelor’s Degree (2008) in Political Science (Magna Cum Laude) from the De La Salle University, and his Bachelor of Laws (2012) at the San Beda University. He was admitted to the Philippine Bar in 2013
