Junior Counsel
Isaiah Jeremy C. Tagarao (ICT) is a Junior Counsel of the
firm.
He forms part of the Public Private Partnership (PPP) Group,
where he works in teams handling projects in reclamation, transportation
infrastructure, and land development.
ICT started working in Libra Law as a Legal Researcher in
2020, assisting in the writing and research of legal memoranda, pleadings, and
other related matters. Prior to this, he worked as a Research Assistant for the
UP Gender Law and Policy Program of the UP Law Center. He also worked as a
Legal Assistant for the Supreme Court of the Philippines, in the Office of
Associate Justice Marvic M.V.F. Leonen.”
While studying law, ICT was granted an E.U. Erasmus+
Scholarship at the University of Málaga, Spain, where he studied courses in
Economic Administrative Law, Comparative Constitutional Law, and Public
International Law. As a debater, ICT
joined moot court competitions, notable of which is the 2019 ALSA International
Investment Arbitration Moot Court where his team entered the international
rounds qualifier and was the Top 8 Team in Overall Rankings.
ICT is also a Registered Medical Technologist who obtained
his Bachelor’s Degree in Medical Technology (2016) from the University of Santo
Tomas. ICT earned his Juris Doctor (2021) from the University of the
Philippines (U.P.) College of Law.
In 2022, he received recognition from the Supreme Court for
exemplary performance in the 2020/2021 Bar Examinations.
