Edward L. Margarejo (ELM) is Senior Counsel of the Litigation and Arbitration Group, bringing over 25 years of working in banks, law firms, a realty company, and government agencies.

Prior to joining Libra Law in 2022, ELM was Senior Assistant Vice-President and head of the Litigation Division of a listed real estate developer, where he handled civil, criminal, and administrative cases before courts and quasi-judicial bodies. He also served as the Vice-President and Senior Legal Counsel of an international bank, providing legal advice and support to the Retail Banking & Wealth Management Division and the Technology & Services Division.

ELM was the President of the U.P. Law Student Government (LSG) in 1994, after serving as the Vice-President in 1993.

He obtained his Bachelor of Laws (1995) from the University of the Philippines, and Bachelor of Science in Commerce, Major in Accounting (1990) from the University of Santo Tomas. He became a Certified Public Accountant in 1991 and gained his admission to the Philippine Bar in 1996.
